The center, 2.625″ diameter tube holds 0.5 quarts of sunflower seed, safflower seed, or cracked corn, accessible via the two bottom ports. Twist the port openings 180° to feed thistle instead, offering a treat to different birds. A green metal cage surrounds this seed tube, and its 2″ long and 1.375″ wide openings allow only small birds to reach the unit. Place this feeder on a hook or bracket with the included metal hanger, for both you and your birds to enjoy it. When not suspended, the cage lifts easily from the feeder for thorough cleaning. The cap may also be lifted at this time to refill the piece, and the green color blends with your garden.
